The lesson unit that are part of the Coding Express set are as follows:

  1. First Trip: This is the first activity of the unit. It allows children to get familiar with the action bricks and different bricks in the set.
  2. Music Animal Concert: This lesson will help students in recognizing different animal sounds able be able to compose a melody using digital tools.
  3. Train Sound: Students will understand the function of each action brick and how they can be used to solve problems.
  4. Math – Distance: In this lesson students will understand how to measure distance, be able to compare distances and be able to do simple math.
  5. Journey – Trouble on the road: In this lesson students will explore and understand various traffic signs and be able to solve common problems on the road.
  6. Charecter – Caterpillar: The objective with this lesson is for students to understand that the action bricks’ behavior can be changed using the App and with this activity recognize and understand different emotions.
  7. Y-shaped track – Conditional Statement: In this lesson students will explore and understand that the Y-shaped track provides options and be able to design and optimize solutions.
  8. O-Shaped Track – Looping: The objective of this lesson is for students to explore and understand use of the O-shaped track for repeating sequences
