Hands-on STEAM learning solution

Get your kids excited about STEAM learning with the LEGO® Education SPIKE Essential Set. Designed for literacy, math, and socio-emotional development among kids, the LEGO® Education SPIKE Essential Set also enables parents and teachers to better teach their students with five units of 8 x 45-minute STEAM-centric lessons. These include complete lesson plans, and for educators, LEGO® offers assessment rubrics to help gauge where their students are.

The KUBO Coding Starter Set is one of the best STEAM learning tools to introduce your child to the world of coding. And the best part? It teaches programming 100% screen-free, ensuring kids learn without adding to their screen time.

Using magnetic TagTiles, children can piece together sequences to form a program. Once the tiles are arranged, they simply place the KUBO robot on the starting tile—KUBO instantly reads the code and is ready to execute it every time it is placed on the “Play” tile.

The kit also includes an activity map with fun missions. Kids must build the correct code using TagTiles to help KUBO navigate from one point to another on the map, developing both logic and problem-solving skills.

Perfect as a first step into programming, coding, and robotics, the KUBO Coding Starter Set gives children a strong foundation in STEM. Once they complete all the challenges, they can continue learning with add-on kits like KUBO Coding+, KUBO Coding++, and KUBO Coding Math for more advanced concepts.

KUBO Coding Set+ is the perfect next step for kids who have already mastered the KUBO Coding Starter Kit and are ready to advance their coding skills. Designed as an add-on, this set helps children explore concepts like speed, direction, time, and distance, turning their KUBO Robot into a fully programmable explorer.

With 12 guided activities (approx. 25 minutes each), students are taken through a structured learning journey that strengthens their understanding of programming logic, sequences, and autonomous navigation.

But the learning doesn’t stop there—using the tiles, children can program their robot to perform tasks independently. Parents and teachers can further expand the fun with Map Maker, an online platform that allows customized challenges and creative learning adventures.

KUBO Coding++ Set – Take Your Child’s Coding Skills to the Next Level

Has your child already mastered the KUBO Coding Starter Set? Help them continue their coding journey with the KUBO Coding++ Set, an advanced expansion pack that introduces key programming concepts such as events, conditions (if/else), loops, and variables.

Designed for K–5 learners, the KUBO Coding++ Set aligns with curriculum standards and comes with access to the KUBO online portal, which includes lesson plans, project packs, and detailed teacher guides—perfect for both home learning and classroom teaching.

Like all KUBO kits, the Coding++ Set offers a completely screen-free coding experience, ensuring kids learn through hands-on, tactile exploration rather than screens.

A single kit can be used by one child individually or in a group of up to three students, making it ideal for classrooms and collaborative learning.
